Lovely townhouse in a market town. You are within walking distance to fabulous bakery, local restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Great location to visit the Peak District and other attractions. Host was very helpful, provided lots on information and the finishing touches in the property were lovel - especially the bread & cakes!

About the host
Hosted by Julie Smith
My family have been working in hospitality and tourism for as long as I've know and whilst I initially chose a different path I found it was in my blood and I have come back to it. I love welcoming guests to our holiday cottage. I'm passionate about showing how wonderful Leek is to visit as a destination.
Why they chose this property
I've lived here with my family for over 20 years and have a real love for the place. I feel it has been previously under rated as a Peak District Destination yet it has lovely buildings, a great atmosphere, boutique shops and markets and it is really dog friendly so my mission is to introduce it to more people...
What makes this property unique
The location is a great balance between town and countryside with each on either side of the house, making a great combination stay. You can be out walking in minutes but still have all the amenities, culture and atmosphere very close by. The house is decorated to a high standard and is quirky, colourful and independently rated 4* Luxury for the decor and amenities. Unlike some offers all the rooms are the same size and quality meaning no one has to compromise when staying. This was really important to us.
