Lovely spacious cottage in quiet surroundings, with plenty of parking.

Lovely spacious cottage in quiet surroundings, with plenty of parking. Loads of beautiful walks/hikes in the Peak District and other things to do locally. Games room was a nice bonus. Owners friendly and helpful.

A super cottage in a lovely location close to so many places of interest.

A super cottage in a lovely location close to so many places of interest. We ran out of time for all the things we wanted to do. The cottage had everything you could need for a relaxing break. Despite no phone signal in the area the wi-fi worked extremely well, so lack of signal wasn’t an issue within the cottage or it’s garden. The games room was an added bonus and we were lucky enough to have good weather so we could sit in the large garden. We would definitely recommend Mill Lea.

Friends and kids weekend away

We (4 friends and 2 kids) wanted time to relax, see surroundings and have a catch-up. Delivered on all 3. Fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room/breakfast bar. 2 bathrooms, games room (adults enjoyed more than the kids). Rear garden was amazing, lovely views, stream running behind the rear fence and cows wanting to see what you were up to from behind the wall. Host kindly called in on the second day to check all was ok (it was). Directions were good, check-in was easy, house clean - really it was a home from home. Only feedback is that there's no back door into the rear garden so you need to carry food out the front/make sure you lock up in the front to relax in the back. Small point. Ways to still enjoy it. Gorgeous property in a very secluded well kept area.
