Hi, Alan! Thank you so much for your kind review of 45 Eskin Street. This is such a brilliant property, and aside from the size, the house is in a brilliant location in Keswick. Plenty of on-street parking, away from the business of the centre, close to amenities like GoLocal and the bakery! We can't wait to welcome you back for your next stay. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Good stay

The house was very well equipped and everything worked as it should. The bedrooms were all good. Much thought was put into providing things to do indoors on an evening in or wet day. When we next visit Keswick we will book 45 Eskin Street.

Great Property and Location

Great spacious house with well equipped kitchen. Pleased to have 3 bathrooms with two families sharing the house. Bedrooms beautiful, comfy beds. Excellent location for walks around Keswick and all the local shops, restaurants. My only negative is check is is late st 4pm and check out is v early at 10am. I appreciate cleaning needs to happen however given the cost I think these times are a bit restrictive. Appreciate you can arrange early or late check in/out but at an extra cost. All in all a fabulous house with opportunities to make the experience even better.

Hi, Caroline! Thank you so much for your lovely and detailed review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay at 45 Eskin Street and that the house worked so well for your group, particularly with the spacious layout, well?equipped kitchen, and three bathrooms making things easier for two families sharing. It’s wonderful to know you found the bedrooms comfortable and the location ideal for both walks and exploring Keswick’s shops and restaurants. Thank you as well for your feedback regarding the check?in and check?out times. We completely appreciate your perspective. These timings are in place to allow our housekeeping team the necessary time to prepare each property to the high standard we aim to deliver for every guest arrival. We do offer early check?in and late check?out options where possible, but we understand your comments and will continue to keep this under review. Lovely accommodation in a great location

A fantastic place to stay whilst we were in the lakes. Quiet residential area with free on street parking, yet only a few mins walk from the town centre for shops and restaurants. Accommodation was spotless, and place was well equipped. It worked really well for our two families staying there. Would definitely stay again if in the area, which I’m sure we will be. There was lots to do in and around Keswick for young families. Would recommend booking restaurants in advance - many nice options but the best spots book out quickly!

Beautiful house, amazing location

We stayed at the house for a weekend away walking in the lakes. The house is so beautiful and straightaway we felt comfortable and very “at home”. It is really well appointed with all appliances and equipment you could need in the kitchen. It was sparkling clean and the photos just don’t do justice to the luxury of the bedding/ decor provided. It is really spacious with huge bedrooms and bathrooms and a lovely large lounge/ diner which was perfect for evening meals and getting cosy in front of the fire after a day walking. Being right in the centre of Keswick, it was also perfect for enjoying the many cafes, restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Thank you so much for providing the perfect location to rest and recharge!

Perfect

Wow! This place is awesome. Perfect location: just a short walk into the centre of Keswick, where there are plenty of pubs and places to eat and a large Booth’s (top quality supermarket). The cinema is just a short walk from the house and is an absolute gem (old style and independent). We also appreciated being able to walk up onto the fells without having to get in the car and had the most magical walk up Walla Crag with its bewitching view over Derwentwater. The house is so comfortable, clean and spacious with a very well-equipped kitchen. Superb bathrooms and the beds are really comfy. We’ll be back!

A delightful home from home

We often choose to go to the lakes, and for the past five or so years, 45 Eskin St has been our choice twice a year. In the summer, a lovely patio catches the afternoon sun, and an easy stroll into town and back a few times a day is possible. The house has a lively selection of bedrooms with comfortable beds, space to unpack, and a lovely lounge to relax in with a small log burner to keep you extra cosy. The kitchen has almost everything we have at home, making the stay great. Parking can be a tad awkward, but we've always parked within a one minute walk of the house if there isn't a space outside. A go to if we want a break!!

A cosy stay in a lovely Keswick house

I stayed with my two sisters for 4 nights in September. The house was clean, comfortable and very spacious. All 3 double bedrooms were large. Having two bathrooms (plus an additional toilet!) was great. The furnishings and decor were lovely, giving the house a cosy, welcoming feel. It was much better equipped than many holiday lets, in terms of crockery, kitchen equipment, books, sound system etc. The glimpses from upper windows of Skiddaw and other hills was nice. The backyard is quite functional, but was pleasant for sitting out in the sun in the evening. It's just a 5 minute walk to the town centre, so is very convenient, but the street is nice and quiet. We had no problems parking on the street near to the house. On a practical note, the house has 3 floors, with quite steep stairs, and only one bedroom is on the same floor as the bathrooms & toilet, so would not be suitable for some people. But for us it was great and I would heartily recommend it.

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your review. 45 Eskin Street is just a short walk from the town centre and a 10 minute walk down to the shores of Derwentwater where you can catch the launch to the other side of the lake or walk round the circular route of about 10 miles. We hope you had a fantastic holiday and have lots of great memories to take home with you. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages
