Seas the Day is the perfect choice for a wonderful family holiday by the sea. This large holiday home has a spacious and light double aspect sitting room with doors to the sunny garden for warm sunny days and an inviting wood burner for cosy cooler evening; a large kitchen for socialising over home cooked meals, and four good sized bedrooms, one with the biggest ensuite we have seen. And a short ten-minute walk brings you the picturesque bay at Dumpton Gap, and the coastal footpath where a left turn leads you to Margate and a right turn to Broadstairs town centre and further to Ramsgate, all along the top of the white cliffs with spectacular views across to France on a clear day. Add to this the private driveway with parking for two cars, and the property being pet friendly, there’s nothing to stop you loading up the family and dog in the car and heading to the coast for a memorable holiday. Or leave the car at home and take the train to Dumpton Gap station for a short five-minute walk to the property. Broadstairs has so much to offer guests young and not so young. The Seven Bay beaches of Botany, Kingsgate, Joss, Stone, Viking, Louisa and Dumpton Gap, all offer different things - some are dog friendly, some child friendly, some great for surfers, other for photographers. The town itself has some lovely architectural buildings, lots of Charles Dickens connections and some great art galleries, cafes and restaurants. It has an amazing fish company with its own fleet of ships, where the catch of the day is sold every morning, and there is even a quirky small independent cinema.

We arrived after a cold and wet journey to warm and welcoming house with a welcome pack full of goodies, which was very much appreciated! The house is very comfortable with lovely beds, comfortable lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is a couple of minutes drive from the lovely Dumpton Gap beach just right for walks with the dogs to Broadstairs for an ice cream at Morelli’s. What more could you ask for!!

spacious and clean
We stayed as family of 4 Adults 1 child of 6 and a baby of 5 months, house was lovely and clean and had plenty of room. For us the location was a little further away from the main beach in Broadstairs where we wanted to spend most of our time - the walk was a bit too far for the child and parking in Broadstairs is difficult. However that said we had a lovely stay and were able to enjoy time away and relax. We did know that Dumpton Gap is closer.
We felt that whilst the house is able to accommodate children - with a young baby the fact there was no BATH TUB was a slight niggle - and even the 6 year old struggled with the slippiness of getting out of the shower in the main bedroom ensuite.
Having a back garden which was beautiful was definitely a bonus as we were able to make use of it on a couple of evenings (we were hindered by rain on others :-().
Overall we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed this house.
