Alvor - Homely 3-Bed Duplex Apt Near Beach with AC, Pool- and Sea View.(sleep 6)

Tastefully decorated large apt. (123m2) in a well maintained private condominium of about 60 apartments (1-, 2/3 bedrooms) The apartment has an open plan living space, including a separate TV-viewing /childrens play area with a separate couch. For convenience it also has a bathroom downstairs.

Upstairs is the second bathroom with the Master bedroom, the Twin bedroom with 2 single beds. The Single bedroom has 2 single beds. All bedrooms have individually controlled airconditioning.

From the balcony there is a birdseye view on the pool and it has fantastic seaviews all across the bay to Lagos and a comfortable bench to relax on.

This is a Home-from-Home with all the modern comforts,incl. airconditioning, internet, wifi and flatscreen smart TV with all the main streaming platforms such as Netflix etc.

The complex has a communal garden with a childrens play area as well as a communal barbeque to prepare your meat and fish as well as some benches
for Al Fresco dining with family or friends

Alvor Beach (2.5km long) is only a 900mtr walk and Alvor village is 1.5km.
Shopping is convenient with an Intermarche Supermarket around the corner (500 mtr) for all your needs.
Also there are a number of restaurants nearby (500mtr) with Italian and Portuguese cuisine.

Our second stay in this spacious, clean apartment. Good sized pool, communication with host excellent and 15/20 minute stroll into town( taxi roughly 5 back to apartment)supermarket 5 minute walk and beach 10/15 minutes.

Originally from The Netherlands I moved to Ireland with my Irish wife in order to raise our children. We bought our apartment in Alvor as a holiday home and in order to enjoy it with our children while they were growing up. Now, as we are retired, we mostly use it ourselves trhout the years as we are retired.

Why they chose this property

The Algarve has year-round sunshine with 300 days of sun per year and pleasant temperatures. The great thing about Alvor is that it still has retained its character as a small fishing village and has managed to avoid most of the high rise tourist resorts etc.

The long stretch of beach and the boardwalk allows for lovely walks along the sea and the river estuary.
