Silvia was a fantastic and responsive host! She gave great local recommendations and offered discounts for nearby activities for her guests. A great place to stay with a beautiful surrounding garden! The property is about a 20 minute drive from La Fortuna. We would definitely stay again!

This cabin was clean and equipped as described. The host was very communicative as our trip approached and during our stay. Finding the cabin was not difficult thanks to the directions provided. The main road was a bit noisy at times, but not awful. The cabin is about 20 minutes away from town.

This locally owned and operated cabin was exceptional. Sylvia was so helpful. She even assisted us in planning our excursions while we were in La Fortuna. The beautiful trees and plants surround the cabin provide both privacy and spectacular bird watching. The kitchen and house were well supplied; everything we needed to prepare some of our meals. I would stay here again. Loved it.

Very much enjoyed the location. Nearby road can be a little noise, but the jungle sounds turn most of it into white noise. The host was absolutely wonderful and helped us book all of our activities in the area!

Great stay and lovely host

It is a very lovely house with everything you need for a nice stay. The garden is beautiful and you‘ll be constantly visited by hummingbirds and very busy squirrel. all was perfect, only downside is the road noise which just doesn’t stop. However, our host was lovely, the place was lovely and we enjoyed it very much!

Host was very responsive and met us as we drove into the driveway to walk us through the property. Property was clean and set up nicely for when we arrived, to include fresh pineapple and coffee. It’s located in a wonderful tropical garden setting with trails throughout to meander, and only 15 minutes from La Fortuna. AC worked wonders, the shower was a cold shower which was refreshing, and the only other thing to note was there were many mosquitoes. We had a lovely time hanging out in the hammocks on the porch and would go back! Host even readily waved to us upon departure from main home.

Die Gastgeber waren fantastisch. Wir wurden mit einer Ananas und Kaffee begrüßt. Sie waren immer Ansprechbereit, haben uns sogar bei der Tourenplanung unterstützt und sie für uns gebucht. Vielen lieben Dank, insbesondere Silvia!! Sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich. Kommunikation top. Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung und den Fotos. An Küchenutensilien ist alles da, was man benötigt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Wir sind klar gekommen, die nahe liegende Straße hört man leider deutlich, auch nachts. Die Unterkunft ist von viel Grün umgeben, viele verschiedene Vögel(viele Colibris) konnten wir beobachten.Leider muss ich einen Punkt bemängeln. Die Unterkunft ist sehr hellhörig. Wir hatten alles in allem 3 tolle Tage im Colibri Cabin und kommen gerne wieder.
