This seaside hideaway on the wild Atlantic Way enjoys breath-taking views of the Burren on one side and Galway bay on the other. Steps at the bottom of the garden lead to Crushoa pier (or use the driveway to avoid steps), perfect for year ‘round swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding, as long as you don’t mind bumping into the local seals that frequent the pier! The house is five minutes drive from both Traught beach and the picture perfect fishing village of Kinvara.
The spectacular cathedral style kitchen/diner window beckons in light and warmth which floods the space. There’s a larder with ample storage for food. The living room is a large, open plan room with dramatic vaulted ceiling and a large smart TV (including Netflix) to enjoy on rainy evenings. The house has three double bedrooms (one ensuite with luxurious claw foot bath & separate shower), sleeping 6. There are two further bathrooms, one of which has a shower.
Outside, in our private grounds up a gravel driveway, there are two ponds, one of which is home to our two turtles and our carp fish (Caleb). You can sit by the pond or hide away in the “secret garden” among the fruit trees. In the evening, you can watch the sun go down over the Burren. There’s parking for several vehicles in the grounds around the house.
There are board games & books for our guests to enjoy.
