Laggan Cottage - Where art meets nature

Laggan Cottage is nestled in a beautiful valley within the Cairngorms National Park.

Hidden in the glen, Laggan is a gem.
The cottage was renovated in 2021 by our interior designer, with every details carefully thought out to provide a peaceful retreat for travellers seeking peace amongst nature. The renovation of the old shed added a gorgeous cabin bedroom, listed as one of the Best Cabins in the World by the Financial Times.

IMPORTANT: the last mile is off the beaten tracks and isn`t suitable for low cars. Please consider this before travelling!

Laggan Cottage sleeps a maximum of 8 people.

LAYOUT:
- Downstairs: you will find an open kitchen-dining room, a living room with it`s own bar section, a separate toilet and the first ensuite bedroom with a double bed and shower (can be twinned upon request).
- Upstairs: on the left, you will find an ensuite bedroom with two single beds (can`t be turned into a double), a bath and toilet. On the right, the master bedroom with a double bed (can`t be twinned), an open shower in the sleeping quarters, and a separate loos with sink.
- Converted Shed: this is a panoramic ensuite bedroom with a double bed (can`t be twinned), shower, toilet and a hidden coffee station with views over the running burn and hills.

COMFORTABLE ACCOMMODATION:
- Spacious bedrooms equipped with comfortable bedding and room-darkening shades to ensure a peaceful sleep.
- Modern bathrooms featuring a bathtub, hair dryer, shampoo, body soap, shower gel, and consistently available hot water.
- Essentials provided include bed linens, hangers, and a drying rack for clothing.

KITCHEN AND DINING:
- The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, dishes and silverware, freezer, and more.
- Small appliances include a hot water kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and baking sheet.
- Wine glasses are available.

OUTDOOR FEATURES:
- Enjoy a private, fully fenced backyard, ideal for dogs or children.
- Outdoor furniture and a dining area perfect for al fresco meals.
- A BBQ grill is available for delightful outdoor cooking.

GOOD TO KNOW:
- Babies in arms and children above 5 are welcome. A travel cot is available upon request.
- Pet free accommodation.
- Off the beaten tracks: the last mile is rugged and not suitable for low cars. Please consider this before travelling.
