Tucked away in the heart of the beautiful fishing village of Beer, Honeysuckle Cottage is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Whether you are planning a family break, a catch-up with friends, or a romantic escape, this charming retreat has everything you need to unwind and enjoy the best of Devon.



Step inside, kick off your shoes, and settle into the cosy lounge—perfect for curling up with a book, watching a film, or just enjoying some downtime after a day exploring the coast. The kitchen and dining area are light, welcoming spaces where you can cook up a feast or simply enjoy a lazy breakfast with a view of the garden. And when the sun’s out, the outdoor seating area is the ideal spot for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.



Upstairs, the two bedrooms are designed for a restful night’s sleep. The twin room is great for kids or friends, while the double bedroom offers a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. The modern family bathroom features both a bath and a shower, so you can choose a long soak or a refreshing rinse after a day out exploring.



The cottage also comes with one private parking spaces, conveniently located a short distance away in an adjacent private car park - so you won’t need to worry about finding a spot when you return from your adventures.



Beer is one of Devon’s hidden gems—a traditional fishing village full of charm, history, and friendly faces. The beach is a short walk away, only a few minutes from the heart of the village. Wander through its pretty streets, pop into independent shops and galleries, or stop for a cream tea at one of the cosy cafés. Guest Access:

Honey Suckle Cottage is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. Please note there are two steps leading up to the front door. The garden is currently undergoing renovation, so for your safety, only the patio area is available for use.



The Neighborhood:

Beer is a picturesque seaside village on the Jurassic Coast, known for its shingle beach, fishing boats, and relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Everything is within easy walking distance – from the beach and coastal paths to local cafés, pubs, and independent shops.



The village has a strong community feel, with traditional pubs serving good food, small galleries and craft shops, and plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the sea air. The South West Coast Path runs through Beer, offering stunning cliff-top walks in both directions, while the beach is ideal for swimming, rock-pooling, or simply watching the boats come in.



Despite its peaceful feel, Beer is well connected, with regular bus services to nearby towns such as Seaton, Sidmouth, and Lyme Regis.



Getting Around:

Beer is a compact village and easy to explore on foot. The beach, shops, cafés, pubs, and coastal paths are all within walking distance. For exploring further afield, regular bus services run through the village to nearby towns including Seaton, Sidmouth, and Lyme Regis. There are local taxi services available, and limited parking in the village and surrounding areas.

The property includes one dedicated parking space; however, please note that it is not directly on-site. The space is located in a small designated car park at the end of the row of cottages, just a short walk from the property.

Easy parking very clean short walk to beer. Only thing to complain. There was no anti slip mat in bath for shower which made me feel a bit unsafe.
