This was such a wonderful stay in every respect. The owner Marta, her daughter Sandy, and the caretaker Saul, all went out of their way to be helpful, informative, and kind. The unit was perfect and the owners have provided literally anything you would need during your stay. super comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, balcony overlooking the forest, visits from toucans and monkeys, absolutely stunning view of the marina, on site bar and restaurant for the tiny complex. At many times, although it was fully occupied , it seemed like we had the entire property to ourselves. Morning coffee in the quiet , overlooking the marina, was sublime. It's a little tricky to find the first time, but then you'll figure it out. Highly recommend a 4x4 as it is up a pretty steep hill, but no big deal at all. I wish we were able to stay longer. I will absolutely be coming back. It was perfect.

EASY 5 Incredible Stay at Casa Pargo – We’ll Be Back.Casa Pargo was hands-down one of the best places we’ve stayed in Costa Rica. Marta and Douglas are amazing hosts—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. They make you feel like you’re staying with friends who just happen to have an incredible property.Do not pass up the opportunity to relax by the pool with a drink. It’s pure bliss. And don’t be surprised if exotic birds and other wildlife stop by while you’re lounging poolside or enjoying a meal on the patio—it’s part of the magic.If you’re lucky, Saul will be there mixing drinks and cooking alongside Marta. We had several meals during our stay, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Every single meal was outstanding.Our room was very comfortable, and the HVAC was an absolute blessing after hot days exploring. The views are breathtaking—make sure you’re there for sunset overlooking the ocean and Marina Pez Vela. It’s the kind of view that makes you put your phone down and just stare.If you’re fishing out of Marina Pez Vela, this is a perfect place to stay. You can walk right to the marina, which is a huge plus. You’re also just a short drive to the towns of Quepos and Manuel Antonio, with easy access to Manuel Antonio National Park and the Nauyaca Waterfalls.Transportation is easy too—if you need a driver, Marta and Douglas can arrange everything. Or you can rent a car right down the hill at the marina; we used Alamo and they were great
