I chose Alimos because it offers the best of both worlds, a relaxed coastal atmosphere and quick access to central Athens. It’s a quiet, safe, and residential neighborhood, yet everything you need is within walking distance: the beach, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and public transport.
What I love most is the lifestyle here. Mornings can start with a walk by the sea or a swim at the beach, and afternoons are perfect for enjoying a coffee or a meal at one of the seaside tavernas. The area has a local, authentic feel, it’s not too touristy, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the real rhythm of Athenian life.
Plus, having the airport bus stop nearby makes arrivals and departures completely stress-free.
