This rural property is also home to several pet goats, and wildlife including native turtles, ducks, birds and occasional snake.

Beautiful place

The property is beautiful inside and outside. We enjoyed our stay. We petted the goats, played on the Zipline, grilled out some burgers...lots of things to do. The beds and furniture was comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Please let us know what issues there were with the water. We have a water purification system for the whole house and also a Britta filter for drinking water. We definitely want to address any issues. We are on well water

Our stay for family Thanksgiving was fabulous. Having comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, perfect climate control and plenty of room in the house added much to our enjoyment. We did not use the outside area except to visit goats and pig. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to family and friends.

The property is gorgeous, complete with goats and pig! The rooms were wonderful. The check-in directions weren’t as clear as they could have been, but Vrbo contacted the owner, and we resolved the issue. There were a couple of minor things that required attention, but again, the owner was very responsive. I would highly recommend this property for families seeking a quiet, picturesque place to stay.

Beautiful property for large families

Outstanding property for our family. Well maintained and had plenty for the grandchildren to keep them busy. The house itself is rustic but very comfortable and had most of the things we needed. Close to the springs. Got to get used to the hard water but it’s not a huge deal. Great communications with property managers. Would definitely return

Mission Trip Getaway

We needed a place where we as a group could relax, enjoy each other’s company and have 3 meals prepared. This was the perfect place for us. Big porches to sit and relax after a long day of working. Place was well kept. Plenty of sleeping space and big bathrooms. We had a few people that liked to hike so they took advantage of the big yard and acreage. We had one small problem that was no fault of the host and it got fixed right away on a holiday weekend. If we do another trip to Old Town we will definitely book this place again.

We love the setting!

We love the Spanish moss hanging from the big oaks with the pond backdrop. The water birds provided quite the show while they fished. And the front porch was a perfect perch to take it all in. The farm animals added that rural touch. All in all experience was delightful with a cozy country home - the perfect setting.

Awesome Property

Farm getaway

We had a great time getting away from it all on the farm. The property is beautiful and it has 2 ponds perfect for fishing with the kids. We also visited Manatee Springs, which is about 40 minutes away, but worth the drive.

2026 Seasonal Property Update

Dixie County is currently experiencing unusually dry conditions, and because of the limited rainfall, some of the natural ponds on the property may be lower than usual or even dry during your stay. Water levels in these ponds are seasonal and depend on rainfall, so the landscape may look a little different from some of our listing photos.

The exciting news is that we’ve recently added a beautiful new swimming pond to the property! The new pond has been filled and is ready for swimming, relaxing, and cooling off during your stay. We’re really excited for our guests to enjoy this new addition.

Because the swimming pond is brand new and the weather has been so dry, the grass and landscaping around it are still growing back in. We’ve included a current photo so you can see exactly what it looks like right now. As we get more rain and everything greens back up, the area will continue to look even better.

The dry conditions do not affect access to the home or the other property amenities. We just want to keep our guests informed while also sharing this fun new addition to the property!
