About this property

5 Glanrhaiadr, Llangrannog

5 Glanrhaiadr is a characterful cottage just a five-minute walk from Llangrannog village and beach; one of the most popular and sought-after holiday destinations on the beautiful Ceredigion coast. The cottage is perfectly placed for a family seaside holiday, or for a walking break with access to the 60-mile-long Ceredigion Coast Path close by.

The cottage retains many of its original features combined with modern facilities to create a comfortable and cosy base to enjoy after days on the beach or exploring the area. Once home to the woollen mill in Llangrannog, the mill ruins can be seen at the bottom of the lovely, tiered garden. There are plenty of delightful outdoor seating areas for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. A stunning waterfall can be viewed from the access to the property.

5 Glanrhaiadr is a short distance from the village centre with an excellent pub, two cafés, a fish and chip shop, an award-winning pizza takeaway, and a small shop.

Llangrannog has two sandy beaches, one of which can be accessed at low tide and part of the beach is dog-friendly all year round. Families can enjoy swimming, surfing, kayaking, or just relaxing with views over Cardigan Bay. Ceredigion Coast Path offers miles of coastal walks direct from the village with spectacular cliffs, wildlife, and quaint seaside villages to visit and the chance to spot the resident bottlenose dolphins.

A short drive takes you to New Quay, a seaside village offering dolphin spotting boat trips and water sports. The popular beaches of Penbryn and Tresaith are nearby. Aberaeron with its colourful Georgian buildings is half an hour away and the market town of Cardigan (13 miles) has supermarkets, cafés, pubs, independent shops, and a theatre/cinema.
