About this property
Bright city centre 2 bed family home.
Our delightful two-bedroom family home is tucked away in the vibrant & quirky London Road area of Brighton, set back off the main road in a peaceful mews. The house includes a kitchen diner, a cosy living room, and a patio garden – perfect for relaxing. Both bedrooms have comfortable double beds, ideal for a family or two couples.
Surrounded by fantastic pubs & restaurants, we're just a 10 minute walk to the North Laines & 25 minutes to the seafront. We love our home and we're sure you will too.
This is our family home, we live here most of the time and we are lucky to have wonderful neighbours. The house is located in a small mews, with five properties, all accessed via a secure communal entranceway. The properties are centred around a beautiful communal courtyard.
Located in the vibrant London Road area of Brighton, our home is surrounded by some of the city's best pubs and restaurants. Despite the bustling neighbourhood, the house is very quiet with no traffic or street noise—though the lively seagulls may make an appearance in the summer.
This is not a purpose made Airbnb, it is our home and it's filled with our treasured possessions, including plants and pictures. We want to share our home with others and we're looking for guests who'd treat it as their own.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with all the essentials, including cooking utensils, plates, glasses and cutlery. Whether you're plating up a takeaway from one of our local eateries or preparing a home cooked meal, you'll have everything you need. There's a dining room table that comfortably seats four.
Living Room: A warm, welcoming space with patio doors out to our garden. The living room features a very comfortable sofa, flatscreen TV, books, games and toys for little ones.
Main Bedroom: A good size double bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a bay window.
Second Bedroom: Located at the other end of the hallway, this bedroom also boasts a comfortable double bed.
Bathroom: Our bathroom has all the amenities that you'll need, with a powerful shower located over the bath and modern fixtures and fittings.
Patio Garden: Our patio is a sun trap, receiving full sun until 8pm during the summer months. It features a table and chairs, BBQ, plus a water station for any little ones!
Guest Access: You can use the whole space except the box room which we keep locked for storage. There are a few locked cupboards but you'll have a couple of draws and hanging space for your things.
Additional amenities: We have a travel cot, travel high chair and children's plates and cutlery that you're welcome to use.
Parking/Transport: We're a 10 minute walk from Brighton mainline train station. If you're driving there is restricted paid on street parking and a number of parking lots nearby that you can use. The nearest car park is London Road car park, Providence Place, BN1 4GE (approx. £24 for 24 hours or £88.50 for a week pass but please check the website). We are also on the route for the National Express bus that goes to Gatwick and Heathrow from outside the house.
Additional things to note: Please don't book this house if you're looking for somewhere soulless to party. We love our neighbours and we're looking for guests who want to enjoy everything Brighton has to offer. We have lived here for 10 years and we'd be delighted to share our best recommendations for food, drink and activities.
