About this property
Isabel , nestled in a peaceful farm in Marsham, North Norfolk
Isabel is one of three charming shepherd's huts, tucked away on the secluded western edge of a field called Ovens Mouth, on a peaceful farm in Marsham. Nestled between mature oak trees, Isabel offers panoramic views and a tranquil setting, perfectly positioned to catch stunning sunsets. Isabel is the ideal place to slow down, reconnect with nature and explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. It is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor adventures by day, and peaceful moments by night. With all the essentials provided, Isabel offers a restful escape with stylish, comfortable finishes.
Inside, you will find a welcoming space with warm wood interiors, soft linens, and a well-equipped kitchenette featuring modern appliances. The cosy lounge area is fitted with underfloor heating and two armchairs, complemented with a log burner which creates a cosy atmosphere whatever the season. Isabel sleeps two in a comfortable king-size bed, where you can relax and enjoy your favourite movie. The private bathroom is fully equipped with all the essentials, including a hot en-suite shower, offering modern convenience without compromising the off-grid feel. Outside, enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck or toast marshmallows over the firepit as the sun sets across the fields. With your own space to unwind, you’ll have a private picnic table for al fresco dining and a refreshing drink in hand! Whether you're seeking a romantic weekend escape or a quiet solo stay, with or without your furry friends, Isabel provides the perfect base to slow down and reconnect with nature. Situated at the top of the hill which gives commanding views over the grassland and woodland, the sunsets are spectacular! Perfectly placed for exploring local market towns, scenic coastal paths, or simply stargazing from your doorstep, these shepherd’s huts are the kind of place that’s hard to leave and easy to love.
Florence, Molly and Isabel Shepherd’s Huts are situated in quiet seclusion on the westerly edge of the farm, in a field once known as Ovens Mouth. This field lies adjacent to the 288 acres of Marsham Heath, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSI). The name 'Ovens Mouth' hails from nearly 200 years ago, a time when fields were named to aid illiterate farm workers in distinguishing one from another, helping to prevent the accidental ploughing of the wrong fields or the misplacement of hedgerows.
