A spacious 1st floor suite with a king-sized bed, a shower room and separate cloakroom in a Grade II listed building called The Merchant House, part of the historic Isaacs on the Quay waterfront venue in Ipswich. Free parking is available in a well-lit car park approx 8 minutes walk from the aqccommodation. Guests will benefit from a 20% discount on food and non-alcoholic beverages in the bustling bar, café, and restaurant, as well as use of a communal dining room and kitchen.
BEDROOM
The king size bed takes pride of place in this spacious suite which sits at the front of The Merchant House. There’s ample storage in a wardrobe, bedside table, drawers, and a dressing table with stool. There’s a wall mounted TV and coffee and tea making facilities so you can catch up on the news with a coffee before heading out for the day.
EN-SUITE
Step down into this large shower room which has a big shower cubicle with a hand-held shower, a WC, washbasin, and natural light.

Your accommodation is in The Merchant House which is part of the Isaacs Waterside complex, a great place to stay with so many facilities literally on your doorstop and, better still, you’ll be entitled to a 20% discount on any food and non-alcoholic drinks during your stay. The entrance to the house is actually through Briarbank Bar so you can stop for a drink on the way through after a busy day! Please check the Isaacs website for opening times.
COMMUNAL KITCHEN
You’re welcome to use this full equipped large communal kitchen which is fitted with a Kenwood double oven with five rings, a microwave, kettle, a fridge/freezer (two shelf freezer and 3 shelf fridge – remember that this is a communal area if you’re storing things), a washing machine, a dryer, an iron and ironing board. The kitchen will be cleaned regularly but you are expected to leave it as you find it.
DINING ROOM
Also a communal space where you’re welcome to enjoy meals at the dining table, whether take-away or home cooked.
PARKING
Free parking is conveniently available in Isaacs private car park approximately five minutes walk away and you will be send details of the location and a map prior to your stay. There is currently no CCTV at the car park, however it's well-lit, well exposed, and used by the staff, management and other tenants of Isaacs.
Please note that this room overlooks a busy road so there will be some traffic noise.
