About this property
Land Ahoy! A historic boat, anchored in acres of greenery. 1 of a kind adventure
Nestled amongst acres of greenery, this charmingly rustic sailboat now rests retired from a life well served on the seas amidst a working farm. Fierce waves have been replaced with sweeping fields and trees and where once dolphins and sharks would have glided alongside her, are now dainty lambs fighting for the best spot of shade. Fresh milk, eggs and (time dependant) lamb feeding experiences are at guests fingertips.
Inside the cabin there lies a custom king size bed with made to measure mattress. This sits at the bow of the boat and is triangular in shape; wide at the head and thins towards the foot.
The Lounge is a cosy resting spot, relics from travels adorn the walls with some extra luxuries including a tv/dvd player and a fold out table for guests to enjoy their scran (food) or play some board games. The comfortable bench seat can double up as a single berth (bed) for those who don't want to share or if wanting to bring along a third guest. Board games are included!
The Galley (kitchen) is made up of a gas cooker, oven, microwave & fridge, alongside plates, bowls, cups and glasses.
A fully functioning on-board Toilet and Hand Basin are tucked away between the bed and lounge sections, behind which a draw opens to reveal a pole and hangers for securing clothes.
The Shower is situated outside the boat and custom built on the rudder, off the stern (back) of the boat. This is an experience in itself, with the top part of the cubicle exposed one can shower alongside nature whilst retaining privacy. Yes it can get wild in the winter months, this is not a polished hotel stay, but rather for the quirky amongst us!
The Pontoon is really the icing on the cake; an outside raised decking area complete with a picnic bench & bar. The bar stools double up as side tables. A fabulous ‘safari’ style lookout, sheltered so can still be enjoyed in the light rain. Magnificent place to have a morning coffee. Fairy lights and a speaker for added relaxation.
