About this property
The Coach House, Penzance- Cosy Nook for 2
Summary:
The coach house is a listed historic building at the end of the garden of our Georgian house and dates from 1822. With its own access from the rear it is completely self contained. Entirely renovated in April 2019 following Historic England guidelines it benefits from efficient insulation and heating whilst keeping the character of traditional materials, lime plaster and paint finishes. Well situated in the heart of Penzance, quiet and private. A warm, comfortable and fun base for any season.
The Space:
The Coach House was completely renovated in April 2019. It has central heating and a real flame gas fire for cosy nights after that winter coastal walk. The kitchen has gas hob, full size electric oven, fridge and microwave cooker. There is wifi and flat screen TV. The bedroom has a king size bed (150x200) and pocket sprung mattress. The shower room/WC is through an oak sliding door with lowish threshold. You have to duck to go in as it wasn't permitted to alter the historic fabric of the building. For a small building built to house a pony and trap downstairs and the driver/handyman upstairs its a bright, jolly and very warm place to stay.
Parking for a normal car (small to medium) is in front of the main house - you just have to walk around a 5 house little terrace to reach the Coach House.
Other Things to Note:
Please note the parking space is only suitable for a small to medium car.
