Pros.
Close to train, easy to find (for Venice), on a canal with nice view. Clean except for the bathroom (see Cons) large enough for 5.
Cons.
The bathroom was filthy. The bidet was coated in long dark hair inside and all around rim. Hair all over shower as well along with a dark grime on the floor. Host was not responsive and had to get VRBO involved. After which she sent a cleaner but we had to be there in the afternoon the next day to let them in.
Double bed and pullout sofa are not comfortable. Very thin mattresses. The single bed was very nice though.
Hot water in shower is not hot, warm at best. Rainfall shower head does not work just a handheld shower head that is mounted about 3' high so have to hold it in one hand to shower.
Listing says AC however it was off We booked specifically for this ammenity as we know not all places in Venice have it. However it was either broken or intentionally shut off. Never did get a clear answer.but was told not needed because.of the time of year. Although it was not hot out we found it warm, stuffy and uncomfortable to sleep.
Host was difficult to deal with after arrival. Ignored messages until Vrbo customer service was involved. Claims bathroom was not dirty despite pics sent. Refused to deal with the AC issue saying it is not needed despite listing clearly saying unit has AC. Checkout says 1100. She changed it to 1000 by text. However on day of.checkout she just walked in at 0815 claiming she thought we had left
