The home is beautiful and spacious. Perfect for our large group of travelers. It truly became our "home away from home" and was very comfortable. The lower level bedroom suite was great for my grandparents, and there was a second suite on the upper level for my husband and I. The washer/dryer and newly remodeled kitchen were a really nice addition. I only wish they included additional bed linens and blankets, as we wanted something to wrap up in while watching TV in the living room, but only had what was on our beds. And one person got cold with just the one bed blanket and ended up buying one from the store. Otherwise, a perfect stay. Quite centrally located - grocery stores and pubs nearby, and not hard to get to the highway. The train station is a 5 minute walk away, so even without a car, getting around is very doable. Falkirk central is minutes away, Edinburgh proper is a 25-40 min (depending on traffic) drive away, and Glasgow is 45-60 mins. A definite recommend for a stay in the Edinburgh area!

Spacious, functional and great for a large family. Convenient location and within walking distance to the train, grocery and a wonderful coffee shop, Aran. The host was friendly and quick to respond to my questions or messages.
