Experience the vintage charm of Pacific Grove in this two-bedroom/two bath seaside cottage. It's close to Jewell Park, a short stroll from Lover’s Point Beach—and just a few blocks from the shops and restaurants lining Lighthouse Avenue.  You’ll feel warm and welcome with a gas fireplace, a cheerful, country-style kitchen, and a small patio with a barbeque. Period touches abound, from the brass Queen bed downstairs to the white clawfoot tub on the upper level. There is a full bath with a tub/shower on the ground floor, and a second full bath upstairs along with two twin beds and an office nook. The location to the beach was fantastic. Parking was a little difficult depending on the time of day, but not terrible. The house itself definitely could have been cleaner and is in need of updates, but Pacific Grove and Monterey Bay kept us outside for most of our time, so I recommend Monterey as a whole. If location is of importance, you couldn't ask for a better spot.

The home is lovely and very conveniently located. We had a pleasant time while staying there. However, the stairs leading to the 2nd floor are very, very narrow so if you have anyone tall/sizable in your travel group, it won't be easy to go up. Same if you have large luggage. The home is very old so there are also rooms where there are no light switches (such as the kitchen and first floor bedroom) and one has to walk up to a hanging ceiling light to pull on the cord that turns on the lights.The only other drawback is that there is no garage or driveway parking and street parking is very difficult to come by. Over the 7 days that we stayed there, we came back to the property after 7pm each night and the entire block was full every time so we had to park our car on a different block and carry our belongings with us.

Adorable Victorian house in an absolutely fantastic location. Just a short stroll to both downtown PG and to the coastal walking trail. If you love the shops and restaurants of Pacific Grove, the location does not get any better!

Kitchen was well equipped. There were convenient outlets. We were able to park within a block every night. Great walks in neighborhood and along shore. Bed was very comfortable, if a pinch high for a shorter person.

The house is incredibly cozy and well-furnished. We appreciated the extra blankets, coffee pot, and kitchen dishes. The house is a short walk from Pacific Grove’s shops and from Lover’s Point, making it a great home base for a visit!

Great Location

This house is in the perfect location. It is walking distance from the beach in one direction and walking distance from restaurants and shopping in the other direction. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. The beds are a little tired and may need replaced.

Lovely old lady! Comfortable and functional. Location !!!! Pacific Grove runs a free shuttle to Pebble Beach for the tournament! Please add grill utensils.

Lovely stay at Sweet Pea - a splendid bungalow with a great view of the bay over Lover’s Point. We had a great time here. Management was very responsive to questions as well.

We really enjoyed the house. The neighbors were really friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit of a challenge but not anything major. The location was central to some of the best restaurants. We are looking forward to a stay next year.

Delightful Pacific Grove getaway

Perfectly situated and comfortable cottage. Loved the walkability to everything - Lovers Point, downtown PG, even the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Get Away Home

Property was in a great location, nice little porch in front along with patio in back. Easy check in and out, parking can be tricky but usually can find one around the block and walk over. Would stay here again when we come back!

A lovely little place

This was a great location to stay. Close by Lover's Point and within walking distance to downtown, restaurants, shops, beach trail and amazing views. Very clean and well kept regardless of it being an older place. Very impressed and would definitely stay there again!
