Highgate House consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and sitting area with woodburning stove, a cloakroom with basin and WC, a Jack-and-Jill cloakroom with basin and WC, and a bathroom with freestanding bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC. 1 x king-size, 1 x single sofa bed, TV with jack and Jill basin and wc, 1 x double with Jack and Jill WC, 1 x double bed, 1 x double sofa bed with en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, 1 x family room with 1 x double, 2 x single with additional single sofa bed. Central heating. Rangemaster oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. TV, WiFi, pool table, piano. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Dronfield is situated between the Peak District National Park and the city of Sheffield while close by is the historic town of Chesterfield which is most notable for its famous crooked spire of St Mary and All Saints Church. The impressive Damflask, Agden, Dale Dike and Ladybower dams make for an interesting afternoon's ramble, while the attractive village of Hathersage (thought to be the inspiration for Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre) is also within easy reach and is home to a selection of shops, pubs and inviting eateries, plus an outdoor lido. There are many stately homes to visit including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall, whilst the historic and ever popular town of Bakewell and the rest of the Peak District, are within a short drive.
