The pictures of this property don't lie - it's a beautiful property, it felt very secure, and had a wonderful view. They offer optional airport transfer service, which we used, and it made for a very smooth beginning and end to our stay.

Very nice industrial themed apartment with private pool!

This place was perfect even for our 2 year old son. All the balconies are safe and the pool is the perfect size. Everything you need is in walking distance as well. The apartment is cozy and the bed comfortable. Overall our experience is good because our toddler was happy. I would also recommend this apartment if you happen to be in Athens and need to work from a computer as the apartment has a couple desks and a relaxing feel to it.

Dazzling Downton Loft!

My husband and I were very happy with our stay, albeit too short. The condominium is a well thought out space that is efficient and comfortable. Yannis, the host was extremely gracious, responsive to questions and accommodating. The rooftop pool is a bonus and of course the view of the Acropolis is stunning. With the jet lag, we both found ourselves awake at 2:30am and swiftly found ourselves at the pool to to view the grandeur of the beautifully lit Acropolis. We found the neighborhood charming and the restaurants very good.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is ideal if you want to discover Athens without using transportation. Acropolis and all the main archaeological sites and museums are just a breath away. At the same time Gazi is a very live neighborhood offering everything that you might need from cafes, restaurants, bars to supermarkets and bakeries. Monastiraki flea market is 800 meters away through a pavement road that is one of the most beautiful in Athens.
While it is central, it is very quiet and safe. The main advantage is that you will need about 15 minutes to get anywhere in the historical center.
At the same time our home is 200 meters away from the metro station. Through metro network (Kerameikos) you can go easily from the one side of the city to the other in order to see every corner and aspect of Athens.
If you have a car then the National Highway is 2 kilometers away with easy access to both directions (North and South).
