Guest access Guests have the full suite and patio for their private use. The suite has a full kitchen and laundry, fireplace, cable and wireless internet.
Guest interaction My wife and I live upstairs and are available if you need anything. We are friendly, easygoing people and will leave you alone unless called upon.
Neighbourhood overview The neighbourhood is quiet, private and safe. The streets are well lit and the ambiance is peaceful with many large trees and sounds of nature.
Getting around There is ample parking in the driveway for guests. There is a bus stop in front of the house. Beaches and stores are a short walk down the hill. (10 minutes) Grouse Mountain and Cypress Mountain are each 10 minute drives away. Other things to note NETFLIX is available on the TV and you have a private BBQ with tools on your private patio.

Wonderful stay! We were impressed by how clean everything was and how well stocked the home is! Honestly, they had everything that almost anyone would need if they had forgotten to pack something! We enjoyed our stay, the house was easy to get into and check out was a breeze!

We really enjoyed our stay. The basement is spacious, clean and organized. The kitchen was setup with all the necessities. The living room is also really spacious. I definitely recommend the stay.
Tidy and clean basement suite. The kitchen is well appointed. The tile steps down into the suite are on an angle and are a bit tricky for people with vision or mobility issues. Need to be careful! Nice place to call home for the few days we were in West Van.
We could not have been more pleased. The unit was clean and everything was in really good condition. We loved the location - it was easy to park but still really close to lots of restaurants and all the sights to see. We would DEFINITELY stay again!
Our family group of 5 had a lovely stay at Evan and Thayna's place in West Van. The place is spacious and well equipped, very clean and well presented.
There is a supermarket about 20 min walk away but it is an uphill slog on the way back. We had a car so no problem for us.

the suite is a basement unit, but spacious, clean, and the kitchen is fully equipped.Our hosts Evan and Thayna are very nice and hospitable. Only drawback maybe it is not walking distance to Ambleside or Park Royal. You do need to have a car to get around. Apart from that, we did enjoy our stay.
We were happy with the location and responsiveness of the owners when we had questions. The house was spotless when we arrived. The only thing that was concerning was the condition of some of the interior walls which were dinged in several places. I mentioned it to the owners who said they would remedy that and thanked me for the feedback.

Conveniently located, family-friendly rental.
We stayed at this property for two nights while attending a family wedding nearby. The property is very close to the Lions Gate Bridge so provides easy access to both West/North Van and Vancouver proper. The house is about a 20 minute walk down the hill to Ambleside beach. We stayed at the property with our toddler and found it very kid-friendly. The unit was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We couldn't access the unit right away because the door code we were given didn't work. This took about 45 minutes to resolve while we waited outside in the rain. Otherwise, we had a great time.
This is a nice high ceiled and spacious basement suite. It’s very well appointed and well stocked. Nice towels, comfortable beds and good sheets and duvets.Very well located for everything we were going to in West Vancouver.
Overall good experience. Some in group were taken back by the pitter patter of little feet. For me the lack of a view in such a picturesque place as West Van was a little disappointing..
Die Wohnung war nicht bereit, obschon wir nach 16 Uhr kamen. Niemand war dort, wir übten vergeblich mit der komplizierten Code Türe bis es endlich ging. Es war nicht sauber und hatte überall lange schwarze Haare im Bad und es war sehr kalt und feucht. Es ist im Keller und man hört die 3 kleinen Kinder oben rumrennen. Am 2. Tag uberflutete das Badezimmer und es stank furchtbar. Wir mussten noch in der selben Nacht raus und uns notfallmässig ein Hotel suchen! Unser Aufenthalt wurde kurzfristig annulliert und wir standen nachts um 22 Uhr auf der Strasse! Eine einzige Katastrophe und dringend davon abzuraten. Rund ums Haus ist es unordentlich. Einzig positiv ist die Lage, die Nähe zur Stadt, alles andere ist dringend davon abzuraten.

Very good location, but it is a basement.
Location wise, this is a wonderful place in west Vancouver. I planned to see the ultra high end community in the upper mountain, and the location of this place serves me very well. However, this is a basement by any standard, and I just hope to know it before I rent it. My family was surprised (somewhat unhappy )to find out in the first day that we need stepped down several steps to enter a basement and all windows are above our heads. I thought the listing mentions that the owners are in the top level, so I assumed the lower level means the first floor. Anyway, it is a doable place if you need a place to stay in west Vancouver. But please be advised what you will get.
The suite was not ready for us when we arrived but the owners were quick to act and resolved the situation in a nice timely manner!
The unit is nice and was perfect for our family, with a great quiet location!
We would recommend this unit!

Beliggenheden var det bedste ved opholdet.
Vi har ikke været tilfredse. Lejligheden levede bestemt ikke op til beskrivelsen.
Vi så en mus eller rotte løbe fra sofa til under komfuret. Dette gjorde at vi afbrød vores ophold før tid.
Three generations of our family stayed here for the weekend while attending a family wedding. The kids were fine with the mattresses on the floor but we wouldn’t recommend this for six adults. It was easy to get to and from the highway. Lots of space in the kitchen.
Loved the location! Clean and comfortable accommodations. It is a lower level but was actually nice because it was cooler. Occasionally hear family upstairs but didn’t bother us as we had kids also

Had a great stay. The accommodations could not have been more convenient and easy. The location was just right for us to go skiing at Cypress Mountain (18 min away). Highly recommended.
