Absolutely wonderful!
My wife, two young adult sons and I stayed at this Vashon Island home for a handful of days in late June. Upon arrival and entering this gorgeous waterfront home we were met with a breathtaking view of Puget Sound. We dropped our bags and proceeded to the glassed-in porch to take in the scenic panorama. The home is well-appointed, very comfortable, and decorated with intriguing artwork. As a cooking enthusiast, I was particularly interested in the kitchen -- and was not disappointed! We had several family meals while staying here and it all added to the experience. From the vantage spot of this waterside home, we spotted Bald Eagles, Ospreys and, (yes verified) a pod of Orcas one early morning when gazing out upon the glass calm water from our bedroom. We lucked out as the weather was sunny and gorgeous while staying here -- and Mt. Ranier was "out" much of the time. A nice beach, (KVI Beach) is a short walk from the home and a very well-stocked grocery story, (Thriftway) is a short drive away. While I never met Sarah, she was quick to respond to our texts and was very helpful. My brother and his family live on Vashon and I, (we) visit periodically and I hope we can stay in this Vashon Craftsman Retreat again. We had an absolutely wonderful stay!
