Pacific Beach Vacation Home (located just north of Mission Beach) is a spacious 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath gated and furnished townhouse located just 1 block from the beach (with private WiFi) and is equipped with a 2 car private garage and A/C (rare for the area).

Please note we are in an urban setting so noise may be possible particularly on weekends and holidays.

Excellent location and property
This location was perfect. The unit was as advertised. No surprises. Plenty of room. Lots of amenities. There’s a Ralph’s grocery store across the street which was very convenient. 4 of our 5 nights we walked to our dinner spot. The beach is one block away. We have stayed in high high rise condos before and so the time it takes to navigate down the elevators and such is just the same as this place. The intersection to cross to the beach has the priority to the pedestrians so that was nice. We went to La Jolla, Gas Lamp district, the USS midway, balboa park, the zoo… all 20 minutes away. That’s important when planning your activities. We were never away from the condo all day so there’s plenty of time for beach time in addition to sight seeing. The garage is a tight fit as they say in the listing but we had a Chevy Blazer and was able to fit it in no problem when we folded the mirrors back. A relative from Huntington Beach came to visit and was able to fit her small SUV in as well overnight. Beach chairs and umbrellas and towels were nice additions. This is a good unit. The hosts were very responsive and checked in on us.

Owner was a delight to deal with. The place is spacious and clean and ha everything you would need for a wonderful stay. It worked out perfect for my family. It’s right in the middle of all things walkable. We had a terrific stay

Clean and comfortable
This house was better than the photos. It was very cozy and clean. Plenty of supplies were available to us within the home (dish soap, laundry pods, shampoo/cond, towels, etc). There were 6 of us between ages 2 and 75 and it was very comfortable for each of us (the stairs were not a problem for my kids, but if you have smaller children I would recommend bringing a baby gate, there was not one in the home). The owner was very easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. Also parking was great! Being in a busy part of town, parking can be difficult. The garage was able to fit 2 Honda Pilots with room on the sides to get in and out! We would definitely stay here again!

This is a great place to stay as it is right in the heat of the Pacific Beach with bars and restaurants as soon as you step out of the apt. The place was really well stocked with everything you need, from kitchen ware to beach equipment.etc..and could easily catered to a big group or family. We really enjoy our stay and highly recommended.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property because we are surfers that live in a landlocked state and we have young children who also love the beach. We love our home because it is a block to the beach and in walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants, bike rentals...etc. so there is no need for a car. And if you want to go to the zoo, Legoland, downtown San Diego, Coronado you are within 20-40 minutes of everything.

San Diego is an incredible place for families, friends, romantic getaways, reunions and retreats!

We also found that we would be paying excessive amounts for a 200 sq ft hotel room (or rooms in our case as we have 3 kids) and the additional fees for parking, internet and overall resort fees.
