Welcome to our cosy farm cottage—perfect for families or small groups seeking a relaxing countryside escape. The spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area features a welcoming log burner, ideal for socialising and spending quality time together.
The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, toaster, kettle, and microwave—everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay.
The cottage offers two cosy bedrooms: one double with an ensuite (walk in shower and a bath), and a twin room with access to a separate walk-in shower room. Thoughtfully designed for both comfort and connection, it’s the perfect base to unwind and explore.
Our farm cottage is one of four charming cottages arranged around a shared courtyard. The setting is truly rural, surrounded by beautiful countryside walks, with friendly farm animals on-site. Our peaceful location is just a short drive to major attractions—10 to 20 minutes—from Canterbury, Folkestone, and Dover.
Please check out our other listings, The Dairy and The Goose Shed.
Full and private access to The Sheep Shed cottage.
Outside the cottage, you’ll find a fully paved shared courtyard. Just beyond the French doors of the cottage we supply a bench—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or relaxing outdoors.
Free parking - shared car park - The Sheep Shed has a maximum of 2 car park spaces (additional spaces can be made available upon request).
There are two farm houses on the site, these properties, and their gardens, are private residences.
All dogs must be kept on a lead and under control when on the farm as there are other animals living on the farm.
Our farm cottages are managed by Rachel and Spencer from Key Retreats Ltd. We offer self check-in and available to respond to messages during your stay.
The cottage is located within a retired farm where there are permanent residents plus there is a shared courtyard shared by the 4 farm cottages, including The Sheep Shed. The permanent residents are friendly and welcoming, however any guest queries should be via Rachel and Spencer from Key Retreats Ltd.
Pets are welcome. They must be kept under control and on a lead when outside the property.
There are lots of wonderful walks in the area and you can reach a footpath within 100 metres of the cottage.
We supply starter set for the Logburner, any further logs need to be purchased by the guest.
The lovely village of Stelling Minnis is easy to walk to and has a village shop and pub (only serves drinks - no food). The surrounding villages and towns have many lovely country pubs and cafes to enjoy and explore.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead and under control on the farm as there are other dogs and animals living on the farm.
Please don’t leave your dog unattended in the property for long periods of time. Distressed dogs bark and whine and this creates anxiety amongst the other farm animals.
Any dog mess must be cleared up immediately.
