When sleep calls, there are two bedrooms on the ground floor – a bunk and a twin – which are great for kids, and there is also a family bathroom. Upstairs, there is a double room and a king-size room, both with wardrobes for storage, plus a family shower room. Outside the bi-fold doors, a wide garden offers a patio area and seating, plus a grassy area for the kids to play.

Step outside your door to find some of the best local walking routes, including Reydon Woods Nature Reserve, a blanket of bluebells in the spring. Within a half-mile stroll, you'll reach Southwold seafront, where the spectacular Suffolk Heritage Coast along with beach huts, a pier and a lighthouse await. At Southwold, you can spend the day building sandcastles on the beach, savour local seafood in one of the restaurants, or visit the unique cinema.
