For thrill seekers, Snowdonia National Park is sure to scratch that itch, with kayaking and paddleboarding at Llyn Padarn (22 miles), and the start of the Snowdon route in Llanberis. Coastal adventures are also possible with Llandudno, a mere 4.5 miles away and brimming with traditional seaside charm, a Victorian pier and even a Punch and Judy show.
