Right in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales is the pretty Wensleydale village of Askrigg, where you will find this characterful cottage. Whether your family of four enjoy getting active by walking and cycling, or simply spending days meandering the towns and relaxing, this pretty, family-friendly cottage is the perfect base.
The entrance to this distinctive holiday let is through the rear door, where you will find a hallway with space for coats and boots. The bright and airy kitchen/diner is situated just off here with everything you need to rustle up hearty breakfasts or make delicious home-cooked dinners. The first of the three bedrooms is situated on this level, a single with plenty of storage space, as well as a family bathroom with a separate shower and bath. A lounge is situated on the first floor, with a warming electric fire and plenty of comfortable seating for all guests to relax and plan the days ahead. A handy WC, a single bedroom, and the master bedroom with a double bed and a Smart TV complete the accommodation. Outside of the property is a fabulous courtyard with a table and seating, and a lockable bike storage shed.
Askirgg is home to a couple of pubs, shops, and a local brewery, all within 500 metres of the property. Further afield, you can find the market town of Hawes (5.5 miles), the interesting Dales Countryside Museum, and Wensleydale Creamery. Challenge yourselves to a tough climb of Great Shunner Fell (7.5 miles) or visit the cascading Aysgarth Falls (5 miles).
