About this property

3 Bed in Hemblington (oc-1781)

This fantastic property, situated on the banks of Pedham lake in Hemblington, is the ultimate luxurious holiday home for families or groups of friends. Sleeping six across three spacious bedrooms with room for up to two dogs, no one gets left behind here. With views towards the lake, access to the woods and shared use of the owner’s heated indoor pool, there’s no need to ever leave the cottage grounds – but if you can tear yourself away, hire a boat on the Broads from Wroxham (6 miles) or take the kids for a day of adventure at BeWILDerwood (8.5 miles).

The former gamekeeper’s cottage, which has underfloor heating making it cosy for winter stays, has a superb contemporary style that makes use of original features. A beautiful brick fireplace surrounds a wood burner in the lounge; light it and snuggle up on the sofas in the evening. Cook up a storm in the stylish kitchen and eat at the dining table among exposed beams and another wood burner, looking out towards the lake through the patio doors. Upstairs, sumptuous bedrooms with wood beams and peaceful, earthy decor ensure that you get a good night’s sleep ready for the day ahead.

Historic Norwich is just 9 miles away; book a hidden street tour with Shoebox Experiences to learn about the history of the city or visit one of the many pubs – the legend is that there used to be one for every day of the year! Children will love ROARR! (19 miles), a dinosaur-themed adventure park with mini golf, indoor play areas and high ropes. See the UK’s largest indoor modelling attraction at Wroxham Miniature Worlds or book a trip on the Bure Valley Railway (both 7 miles) which takes you on an 18-mile round trip through stunning North Norfolk countryside.
