Staying in whitby

Lovely little well equipped and warm cottage right in the centre of the town just below the Abbey. Access was via a little ginnel and unloading the car was an interesting experience, though normal for everyone living in that area. Only drawback for us was a very modern and expensive cooker. Fine after we read the instructions booklet and realised the " touch" controls needed a 5 second touch to work.

Excellent location

We were very comfortable and the cottage is in an ideal location. As a family we would have benefited from a second key as we have teenagers. The only downside is the distance to the parking. The beds are very comfy and there is plenty of storage for a few nights stay but the bathroom could do with some modernising and I think it’s misleading to say the tv has sky. As there are only basic channels available on free view. A second tv would be advisable especially for families like ours with two teenagers. We brought a PlayStation so we had to share the tv a lot. Overall we had a fantastic 5 days with amazing weather and great facilities on our doorstep.
