About this property
2 Bed in Carlyon Bay (oc-crinni)
This gorgeous ground floor apartment is in a gated development on Carlyon Bay close to stunning walks on the South West Coast Path and a hotel with a luxury spa, 18-hole golf course, and excellent restaurant. It’s step-free and perfect for friends or family, with one king-size bedroom and a twin. The beach is just over 300 metres from the door and the nearest pub only 25 metres away.
The flat is in a quiet spot and has super stylish interiors and funky furniture throughout. There’s plenty of space to curl up on the large corner sofa in the lovely, light living/dining area, with a Smart TV, dining area for four, and a door out to the patio and communal garden. If you want to cook while you’re away, the kitchen has everything you’ll need, and a Nespresso coffee machine for your morning cuppa. There’s a spacious king-size bedroom with a handy door outside, a lovely twin room (both bedrooms have good clothes storage) and a bathroom with a bath and shower. Enjoy the communal gardens, which reach round two sides of the property, plus there’s a small private patio with two outdoor chairs right next to the apartment for coffees and sundowners.
Carlyon Bay is home to three sandy beaches (Crinnis, Shorthorn and Polgaver) near St Austell on part of the coast known as the ‘Cornish Riviera’. As well as sunning yourself on the beaches, there’s lots to do nearby. The Lost Gardens of Heligan (8.5 miles away) and the Eden Project (3 miles) are both well worth a visit, as is the historic port of Charlestown (1.5 miles). It’s the filming location of many TV dramas, including Poldark, and has a range of good pubs, independent shops, and restaurants.
