The detached lodge is bright and airy, with dual-aspect windows framing beautiful lake and countryside views. The main living area is decorated in a contemporary style and comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner. Create delicious dinners for two at the sleek kitchen area to share at the dining table by the window, before sinking into one of the sumptuous sofas to read a book or catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. When the day is done, retire to the charming king-size bedroom for a good night’s sleep. A separate bathroom completes this rural bolthole. Outside, soak up the sunshine on the decked terrace with views towards one of the lakes and take in your peaceful surroundings. Guests are also welcome to explore the walking trails and woodland around the lakes.
The quaint market town of Hatherleigh is 3.5 miles away and has a handful of local shops and two cosy pubs. Further afield, the bustling town of Okehampton has a good range of shops and restaurants, and is also known as the northern gateway to Dartmoor National Park. Many popular walking trails start/end in the town, including The Granite Way which leads to one of Dartmoor’s most iconic beauty spots, Lydford Gorge. Heading to the coast, you’ll soon reach the popular resort of Bude, with its sandy beaches, clifftop paths and traditional seaside shops and eateries.
