In a quiet hamlet setting, this immaculate detached single storey property enjoys a south facing aspect and its own enclosed garden. Nestled in a rural location and set in the grounds of the owner’s farmhouse, it also offers direct access into a dog friendly 4.5-acre field. Nearby, Lydford Gorge (NT) and Dartmoor afford fine walking, whilst Roadford Lake, 3 miles, provides water sports and fishing. The beautiful north coast beaches of Devon and Cornwall lie within easy reach and the Eden Project is an hour’s drive. Village shop and good pubs under 2 miles.

We wrote a card to the owner, Paul, when we left because this could not have been a more perfect four nights away. From the cream tea in our kitchen to the way we felt looked after during our stay. Stowford Linhay is an idyllic little home.

I had a fab stay here during Covid.

I had a fab stay here during Covid. Perfectly located for what I needed, Lyn was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble especially as I was self isolating! The dogs and I made use of the paddock every day and the local farm shop kept me well supplied. Super cosy little holiday cottage. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This is one of a small group of cottages at Stowford Farm.

This is one of a small group of cottages at Stowford Farm. The cottage itself has a small garden and there is a four acre field through a gate for dog walking shared by the cottages, so ideal for dog owners. Paul and Lin were friendly and helpful and the cottage very clean and tidy. It's a quiet location so ideal for getting away from it all for a few days. Happy to recommend.
