Thanks so much for your consideration in allowing us to treat you to an awesome getaway to the mountains! While this is our newest cabin here, we are not new to having helped lots of families/couples enjoy the mountains and to date have received over 1000 GRAND REVIEWS reflecting the experiences we have helped others enjoy. If you are looking for a private/secluded escape that will provide some beautiful views to the mountains-- we invite you to be our guest at "Honey Bear Lookout". If you desire a mountain escape that allows you to feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere while still being close to all--this cabin will be a big hit! Our upstairs/deck area while giving the VIEWS to the mountains will give the feel of being in your own private "tree house" here in the Smokys.

Out 1st goal is to simply have you say "Wow" when you open the front door. The cabin has been updated with lots of NEW FURNISHINGS and will be sure to impress. Our 2Bed/2Bath cabin is a beautiful cedar sided exterior with pine floors, walls, and ceilings to provide the true Rustic cabin feel.
LIVING: Will find a "New" bear themed couch and over-sized chair to cuddle up in front of your fireplace and enjoy your 50" Flat-screen while winding down for the evening.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped with "New" cooking utensils including a crock pot to prep in the morning and allow for your evening meal to be cooked while you enjoy your day in the mountains. Great news if your definition of vacation is staying out of the kitchen in that there are many great dining options only a short drive away that we can direct you to.

SLEEPING: Will find a KING Size Custom crafted cedar bed in the Master Suite and a Queen Size bed in the 2nd bedroom. Will also find a "New" sleeper sofa in both the living room as well as the upstairs 2nd Living/game room--both with a commercial grade mattresses.

DINING: Will find a "New" Amish Rustic Dining table enough to seat 6 plus a couple bar stools at the kitchen island. (Comfortably seating 8)

UPSTAIRS LIVING: Enjoy a game of pool plus a NEW ARCADE GAMING SYSTEM while taking in the peacefulness of the surrounding views.
Will also find a 48" Flat Screen over the fireplace along with another couch to relax while the games are on PLUS a 2nd FULL BATH.

BACK DECKS: Enjoy the privacy and feel of being in your own "Tree House" as you step onto the lower deck to enjoy your hot tub after a day of hiking in the mountains. Step out of the upper deck and take in the views to the mountains---what a great way to start the day with your cup of coffee!

FREE WIFI and long distance assure you can stay connected while with us.

Location/Location: Between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge just off US 441 (The Parkway). From the Parkway--Pigeon Forge --2 Miles/Gatlinburg-4.5 Miles= quick access to all.

Our final goal is to have provided you an experience you find hard to leave and one you desire to return and enjoy again!

Great place for the family!

Our family had a great time in this cabin. Very roomy, kitchen is equipped with anything you would need, and plenty of towels! Kids had a blast on the arcade machine and we loved sitting outside or at the large kitchen table playing cards. Also, we were visited by 2 bears! Highly recommend if you are looking for seclusion and peace Randy is very helpful, informative, and responsive! We will definitely be staying at one of his properties again!!

Great location close to pigeon forge and gatlinburg! Tons of don staying in the cabin too! Arcade game with 60 games pool table, wet bar and a hot tub! Great place!

Great place to take a family

Wonderful stay! Randy was so nice and made sure everything was working good. It was perfect distance to Gatlinburg and Pidgeon Forge. We even got to see 5 bear right next to our cabin! Highly recommend!

Top notch mountain top!

We had a great time at this awesome mountain cabin. Everything we needed to relax and only minutes from everywhere. Loved the hot tub and just relaxing on the deck looking down on everything, I think there was only one house higher than us! We would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Excellent cabin!

This is the perfect cabin for a couple or a couple with a child! It is a very cozy and well equipped. It’s a little off the beaten path but that’s perfect because very little traffic or noise. The owner is great. Very friendly and concerned about your stay. All in all it’s been our favorite small cabin to stay in! We loved it!

Honey Bear Lookout

My wife and I enjoyed our stay so much. Randy greeted us on the phone when we arrived and called us to make sure we arrived home safely. I would definitely book again and stay in this cabin. I loved the location and saw two giant turkeys in the morning. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long day. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for a nice getaway with your partner.

Great Location! Fabulous owner communication!

Great location. Near both cities Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Beautiful view. The drive to the cabin has steep inclines, but we are from Michigan and aren’t used to roads like that. A couple of days in we were comfortable. First time driving I would probably recommend doing in the daylight, especially if you’re not used to mountain roads. The owner is phenomenal. Great communication, had recommendations of the area, and was available with questions or concerns.

Cabin was nice but could have been cleaner. (ie...used sponge, crockpot dirty, dirty TV and video game, no batteries in dvd remote, extra toilet paper disgusting) nice wood throughout. Top balcony railing loose. Good view.

Honeybear Lookout

Randy was wonderful. We had a few minor matters, which he worked quickly to rectify. In hindsight we wish we had brought a few more things for the kitchen in order to make it fully functional. The environment was very peaceful! We were a reasonable distance from the park, too. The drive to the top where the property is located is a bit intimidating initially but we figured it out! Great rental for 4 of us.

Great experience

My family of 6 had a great experience at the Honey Bear Lookout cabin. Within 24 hours of booking the cabin, Randy, the host, was in direct contact with me. He gave wonderful suggestions of everything from grocery stores to places to eat. It was intimidating finding the cabin, but the directions from Randy gave us turn by turn instructions. Checking in was very easy. Randy checked on us to make sure we made it okay. Upon arriving, we noticed that everything was clean and orderly. My teenagers had a great time using the pool table and arcade game table. The whole family enjoyed the hot tub. The beds were comfy, and there were plenty of towels, linens, and extra blankets. Checking out was just as easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Honey Bear Lookout Stay

Let me start out by saying I wish we had more time there. I was fortunate enough to grab a small opening after the owners received a cancellation. Randy is on top of everything, very thoughtful, attentive before, during and after your stay! The cabin is nicely equipped and comfortable. If you would like to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg this is the place. You are within minutes of both locations and very close to the Smokey's! This is off topic of Honey Bear Lookout but if you do not know the area rents UTV's for the day, you do now. We saw so many driving the Smokey's and such a cool way to get around. Next time we go we will definitely try to get a day rental of one:) We would stay at Honey Bear Lookout when we visit the area in the future! Cheers!

Unique Cabin Experience

The customer service was 11/10. Randy was very welcoming and was in constant communication. The cabin was unique, the hot tub was great and the upstairs game room was a lot of fun.

This cabin has everything! My husband and teenagers enjoyed the pool table playing a competitive game every night. The hot tub was wonderful after walking all day each day. Randy the owner was wonderful to work with. His phone calls and emails are always so uplifting. We will DEFINITELY be staying in one of their cabins again!

Great stay in the Smokies

We enjoyed our stay at Honey Bear Lookout. It was the perfect location equidistant to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for our trip - full kitchen, washer dryer, TWO bathrooms (very important traveling with teenagers), and a game room upstairs. Our kids were able to spread out - one slept on the pull out and the other in the second bedroom. It was peaceful and perfect! Our only stress was traveling to and from the cabin - we are not used to mountain driving. However, my two wheel drive minivan made the trek, so you can too! I would highly recommend this property!

The cabin is nice Randy is very helpful and makes it easy but the roads were very narrow for the area after halfway, had no complaints with cabin just roads stayed in cabin one day then went into town and stayed

Mountain break / Dollywood

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honey Bear Lookout. The lodge was in a great location and was in easy reach of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. You would need a 4wd in late fall / winter as the roads are very steep. Facilities were all as described and communication with the host was excellent. They were responsive and happy to help. Would recommend a stay here.
