Thoughtfully furnished with a reclining sofa, a Smart TV and fully glazed doors onto the terrace, this room offers far-reaching mountain views. Once you’re ready to retire, the double bed at the far end has reading lamps on either side and there’s a conveniently close shower room to complete your comfort. There is private parking for one car so you can explore the surrounding lanes and footpaths at your leisure.

The National Park Visitor Centre is a mile away – visit for tips on getting the most out of your break in the Brecon Beacons. Visit the cathedral town of Brecon, famed for its Georgian architecture, castle and waterside walks and explore the trails around Llangorse Lake (11 miles) on foot or by bike – located between the Central Beacons and the Black Mountains, it’s the largest natural lake in Wales and a centre for water sports and fishing.
