About this property

1 Bed in Far Forest (oc-d30808)

This romantic rural retreat tucked away in a picturesque spot in Far Forest is the ultimate peaceful bolthole, ideal for couples craving an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The village has a shop for essentials and a carvery (booking recommended). Just 3.5 miles away is Wyre Forest, the largest native woodland in England, which features the treetop adventure course, Go Ape, or marked trails showcasing steep-sided valleys and ancient woodland to explore on foot or two wheels. Venture to the market town of Bewdley, 4 miles away, to enjoy a soothing stroll along the River Severn before picking up some fabulous produce from its array of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Cleobury Mortimer is also only 4 miles away and boasts many pubs, restaurants and beautiful country walks. The National Trust’s Knowles Mill can be reached within 5 miles. Further afield you can discover the popular town of Ludlow (15 miles), renowned for its Castle and historical architecture with a vibrant market town atmosphere.

Your stunning woodland surroundings never feel far at this wonderful home-from-home, which features a set of floor-to-ceiling bi-fold patio doors which frame magnificent views across the beautiful surrounding scenery. Entering through a single door in the bi-fold patio doors, the open-plan living/kitchen/dining/sleeping layout of this bolthole provides all your home comforts at your fingertips. The wood burner-effect electric fire sets the scene for pure relaxation. Whip up something delicious with fabulous local produce in the well-equipped kitchen before enjoying your efforts with a glass of something chilled seated at the breakfast bar. Enjoying the best views out over the woodland, the sumptuous reclining sofa and king-size bed both offer a haven of serenity to retire to at the end of a busy day’s adventure. Sleek and stylish, a contemporary shower room completes this homely bolthole.

Outside, enjoy magical views overlooking the Wyre Forest National Nature Reserve as you dine alfresco on the patio amongst the soothing sights and sounds of the resident deer roaming freely around the forest. There is private parking for one car. The property is not suitable for infants.
