About this property
3 Bed in Fowey (oc-cstepa)
This cottage, brimming with character on the waterfront in Fowey, is the perfect base for a relaxing break with friends or family. Spread over three floors, there’s plenty of space and you’ll find lots to see and do in Fowey, beautiful walks, great water sports and fishing nearby, or you can spend your time in the garden admiring the stunning view.
The house has a mix of quaint and contemporary, where original features sit alongside stylish designs and luxurious touches, including underfloor heating in the kitchen/lounge/diner on the lower ground floor. It’s a great space to relax, chat over a few drinks, rustle up and enjoy meals together. There’s a second living area/snug on the ground floor with a Smart TV and river views, as well as a cloakroom with a WC and a beautiful light double bedroom with lots of clothes storage and an en-suite shower room. The second double bedroom (with plenty of storage space and a gorgeous en-suite shower room) is on the first floor, as is the pretty twin room and the family bathroom. The garden, accessed from the kitchen, has a large patio area and multiple seating/eating areas all with incredible views.
Fowey is home to some lovely boutiques and shops and there are brilliant places to eat out especially if you like fresh seafood. Literature lovers will enjoy the Literary Centre, which explores the life and work of Daphne du Maurier. Visit Fowey Aquarium (just under 300 metres away) with specimens brought in by local fishermen then head onto the water to explore the estuary by kayak or boat. There are wonderful walks through open fields, on rugged cliffs and along stunning beaches (the nearest beach is 1 mile away).
