You enter into the kitchen and dining area on the ground floor, where you'll find everything needed to prepare meals, along with a solid wood table, bench and chairs. A few steps lead up to the living room, where full-width bifold doors open onto views across the bay. Here, you're as close to the beach as it gets, and the room's gentle nautical touches create a calm place to sit and watch the changing sea and sky.
The first bedroom features a king-size bed positioned to face the piers and harbor entrance, and it also has access to a small terrace for enjoying a morning drink or evening glass of wine. The second bedroom, located in the loft, has a double bed. The main bathroom includes a shower over bath, WC and basin, with finishes that reflect the home's coastal setting.
To the rear, No. 3 Sandside offers a generous outdoor area with seating for dining or relaxing.
Located at the bottom of the 199 famous Abbey steps, No3. Sandside is as close to the action as you can get. With narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants on your doorstep. You can climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker's gothic novel 'Dracula'.
