The traditional stone villa is the perfect setting for a relaxing, peaceful stay. It has a sense of space with its open plan lounge and kitchen. The lounge has large comfy leather sofas and a large flat screen tv with satellite channels including Freeview/Sky, plus a section with a vast selection of videos and box sets.

We are a retired English couple who moved to Mallorca more than 15 years ago. We love walking and exploring new places, eating good food and meeting new people.

Why they chose this property

We wanted to live in a village where people say 'hello' when they see you, where you are welcomed and valued. There are many nationalities that live and work in the village and this is celebrated every year with a fiesta where people from other countries share their local dishes with the other residents and all money raised goes to a chosen charity.

What makes this property unique

What is still surprising to us, is that at every twist and turn shows a unique view of the area. This is true even around our olivar. Each terrace has a slightly different view or aspect. Each one stunning, showing the beautiful village of Fornalutx and the backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains - with Puig Major behind the house. At sunset, the mountains often turning a wonderful pink hue.
