Place was lovely and clean. Awesome views. Great comms with the property management team and very forthcoming on activities in the region. Hot tub at the right temperature however is not discreet enough. Also very disappointing having the dishwasher faulty and not enough effort made to repair during our seven day stay.

Hi Lucanus Thank you again for your kind comments about the property, cleanliness, views and our communication — it really does mean a lot to us. That said, we’re genuinely quite upset by the 3-star review, as we always strive to ensure everything is exactly as described and that our guests have the best possible experience. The property is marketed accurately, and the hot tub positioning is clearly shown within the listing and photos, so nothing is misleading. We’re very sorry again about the dishwasher. Unfortunately, this had been damaged by previous guests prior to your arrival. As it is covered under warranty, we had to arrange an engineer through the warranty company, and this was the earliest appointment they could offer during your stay. As a gesture of goodwill, we provided £100 compensation, which we understood you were happy with at the time, and no further concerns were raised during your stay. We completely appreciate the inconvenience, however we do feel we handled the situation as promptly and fairly as possible. As a small, family-run business, reviews like this can be really impactful, so we would be incredibly grateful if you might consider revisiting your review in light of this. Kind regards, Charlotte Cornish Stays
