About this property
Large 4 Bedroomed Creekside House In Devoran, Nr. Truro, Cornwall, England
Our house is light, spacious and comfortable and is perfect for relaxing or using as a base for all the water sport activities on offer near to the village. When the tide is up you can canoe, kayak or sail from the house, and there are many fabulous beaches within 10 miles of our house, either on the North coast of the South coast. We are also right on the Bissoe Cycle trail which means you can cycle from the house all the way to the North Coast. If you are looking for a quieter time, then you can sit on the deck and watch the wildlife.

About the host
Hosted by Fiona Townrow

We used to run the small boatyard here in Devoran. We bought the boatyard in 1999 and used to sit for hours on the piece of adjoining land with our tea dreaming of living on the creek. This was realised in 2006 and we haven't looked back. The children couldn't think of anywhere else to live. The house is always light and airy and the views are ever changing. Many a day gets lost just watching the birdlife and the children playing in the water or even the mud! When the tide is right up we have taken canoes and a rib up the estuary to Falmouth or to the Pandora Inn for a quick drink. This is our home for most of the year and so when we rent the house out guests always love the fact that the property feels homely with everything in it you could possibly need.
