3 bedroom 2 bathroom vacation home on beautiful Anna Maria Island, Just two short blocks from the most breathtaking white sandy beaches. This custom built home comes equipped with private pool area, outdoor grill/patio area, state of the art LED lighting, a full laundry room with front loading washer and dryer, fully equipped coastal style kitchen with dishwasher, cook for your family or hop on our FREE island trolley system to award winning restaurants or pubs in the area. Enjoy shopping on Anna Maria's well known Pine Ave, or travel to historic Bridge Street for more local shops and restaurants. If relaxation is what you're looking for, a two minute walk to the beach should do the trick, or relax around a private heated pool consistantly heated to 88 to 89 degrees.

Anna Maria Island is best known for its beautiful sunsets and white sandy beaches, there is kayaking, paddleed boarding, bike riding, or inshore fishing. For you die hard fisherman local offshore fishing charters are one of the most amazing experiences of a lifetime. We are also only 45 minutes from Busch Gardens, and Adventure Island water park , as well as Botanical Gardens, and many other attractions.

Heated pool was excellent. Prior guest disconnected the TV's but the host arrived the next day and reset them. One lounger was broken but the host acknowledged that we did not cause this.

Amazing Stay !

We really enjoyed our 2week stay at D's Hideaway, it is a short walk to the beach , and on a quiet street . We appreciated the beach chairs and cart that were provided , and the beautiful pool and waterfalls were great . The shower on the main floor of the house had very low pressure , but other than that everything was awesome . I would definitely recommend this place .

We stayed at D's Hideaway for 1 week and had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time down by the pool/bar area and it was awesome. Fan, bluetooth speaker, fridge, tiki toss, beach towels, beach chairs and toys, etc. The house has a great beach vibe and very organized. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place for families

The property was perfect for our family of 4. The girls loved the bed in the cubby under the stairs. The pool area was great; water was warm and pool was well maintained. Check in and out process was simple. Owners live next door and available to help if needed. Location was centrally located so we could do Holmes beach, Bean Point, Bridge Street and Bradenton all very easily.

Overall okay

The house was clean, well-stocked, nicely decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. However, a few things affected our stay. Construction next door, which we weren’t told about, was loud at times and caused tiny paint chips to end up in the pool after it rained. The host came to skim it and left a net, but we only used the pool once. The bar fridge outlet was not working, but her husband kindly fixed it the next day. Minor issues like low water pressure and a dusty air vent upstairs could use attention. Overall, a nice home, but not quite the relaxing stay we were hoping for.

During this period, we had been experiencing an extremely rainy week, and had discovered one of the gutters had come loose and was pouring into the pool. Thus causing the pool debris. The gutter company was called, and it is now fixed. The low water pressure in the upstairs bathroom sink has been addressed, and was a clogged airrater. All fixed! The construction could not be avoided, as the roof next door was leaking badly due to the heavy evening rains, and had to be dried in properly in order to control the damage to the structure. The front porch construction project itself, otherwise, had been put on hold for the purpose of the rental stays.

We had a wonderful two weeks in this home. It’s even nicer than the pictures show. Plenty of room for three couples. The pool was the perfect temperature and the location was great. It was very clean and comfortable. Easy to walk to the beach and had many relaxing afternoons by the pool.

Pas à la hauteur

La maison est agréable et propre, conforme aux images, et surtout tres bien située dans une jolie partie de l’île. Nous avons apprécié la petite piscine et la cuisine était très bien équipée. Toutefois, nous avons été déçus par un ensemble de petites choses qui font que cette propriété n’est pas à la hauteur de celles que nous louons habituellement, surtout pour le prix. Par exemple: à notre arrivée plusieurs pièces étaient sans électricité, en raison de fusibles disjonctés. Nous avons dû attendre plusieurs heures avant que les propriétaires répondent à nos textos. Les lumières dans l’escalier étaient brisées ce qui les rendaient dangereux le soir pour se rendre à la piscine ou au bbq (on devait s’éclairer avec nos cellulaires). Le barbecue n’avait pas été nettoyé depuis très longtemps ce qui fait que le gras accumulé a pris feu (nous avons du descendre des casseroles pleines d’eau pour l’éteindre). Les fournitures (papier de toilette, savon à vaisselle, dosettes pour lave-vaisselle etc.) était minimales (un seul rouleau, une seule dosette, etc) ce qui est inhabituel et très agaçant. Enfin: les règles de la maison (écrites dans un cahier) étaient inutilement stressantes (départ à 9h ou vous serez chargés 50$ par ½ h supplémentaires) et non conformes au contrat avec vrbo (départ à 10h)… le fait que les hôtes ne répondent pas (ou très tardivement) à nos textos (notamment pour l’heure du départ) était très décevant.

Our family enjoyed D’s hideaway, everything from the heated pool, to the short walk to the beach, and the most amazing sunset views available in so many areas of the island. This was our first trip to AMI but not our last! This home is perfect for a small family and the island has so much to offer.

I’ll keep it short. The place is as advertised. It was plenty big, clean, and everything was great. We would happily stay here again. I loved the pool area, of all the places I’ve stayed, this was my favorite (covered tv, tiki bar, and mini fridge and plenty of storage for toys and chairs). Loved having the beach cart to borrow too. FYI the bathroom is on the second floor. This did not bother us at all but if going up stairs is challenging, you should think twice. Thanks for sharing your place!

A 1/2 Bath from Being Great

When at the pool, you are one flight of stairs up to the main bath and two flights up to the master bath...way too many stairs each time you need to use the bathroom. Other that that the home is ideal...though the advertised waterfall into the pool only ran once for 1 hour during our entire stay.

Family Vacation.

The house was awesome! The pictures do not do it justice. We rented bikes and rode to the beach, which was literally two blocks away. This house is centrally located, you can ride to the pier, or go to town for dinner. The pool was very refreshing after spending the day at the beach. We loved playing cards in the outdoor area and the hook game was very addicting! We will be back!
