The Cottage in Beachwalk - Sleeps 10 - Golf cart included

Come enjoy this beautiful home centrally located in the award-winning Beachwalk Resort Community. This four bedroom, 2 1/2 bath cottage has all the comforts of home. A 20 foot dining table is the center of this home and is great for family dinners and game nights. The open concept floor plan lends itself to entertaining the family while the cook won't feel left out in the kitchen. Granite countertops, hardwood floors, 9 foot cottage style doors and high ceilings throughout this home really sets it apart from all the others. Enjoy grilling out on the gas grill at the picnic tables right outside. We do have a golf cart for use when available…please understand things do break down occasionally and we do our best to maintain it

The kids will enjoy the friendly neighborhood and all there is to do: heated pools, tennis court, basketball court, putting green, fishing pier, on-site snack shop, bike rentals, kayak and paddleboat rentals, swimming lake, fountain ponds, several parks, 3 playgrounds and a private boardwalk to the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan.

This home is close to all of the Beachwalk amenities as well as the local attractions, including the Michigan City Zoo, Washington Park and the marina. Feel like shopping? The Premium Lighthouse Outlet Mall is less than a 5 minute drive. Feeling lucky? The Blue-Chip Casino is a 3 minute drive. You will find many great dining options locally and in New Buffalo, Michigan, which is just a quick 15 minute drive. Feeling adventurous? Boat rentals, Jet Ski rentals and fishing charters are just 5 minutes away at Washington Park. The new splash pad for children is also located at Washington Park. If you prefer your adventures on foot, try the many trails and beautiful grounds at the Indiana Dunes Lakeshore State Park.

Amazing Summer Getaway

Location was great. House was clean. My 3 y/o loved the pool, beach and parks. Golf cart was great to have to bring our 5month old to and from the house for naps. We ended up bringing a second one to accommodate the 8 adults we had. Would stay again.

We loved our stay at The Cottage!

We stayed at the cottage with family and had a great time. The house was plenty big for the 8 of us. The adults especially enjoyed the covered patio. The convenience, and fun, of having a golf cart can’t be understated. Beachwalk is a wonderful resort community and we took advantage of most of the amenities.

Celebrating a birthday!

We had the best time at the cottage. The owner was prompt, friendly and accommodating. The house is huge and beautiful. We love the fact that the golf cart was here; and we can’t wait to come back for our sons birthday again next year!

This property was that perfect place for our group! We had friends travel in from 4 states and one in from out of the country. The location of the house was fabulous. Walking distance from the house is a cafe, the pool, and beach. Jodi, the house, was very responsive, positive, and helpful. We would stay again!

Long Weekend Getaway

Beautiful cottage and accommodations! Close to the beach and a nice community pool on the property. The houses are rather close and there isn't a lot of room in the community to take a leisurely stroll. But overall I would highly recommend booking especially for a large gathering with friends or family.

This was our first family vacation with our boys 4 & 5. They loved the house, the pool, the beach, and the golf cart. Everything was so close and easily accessible. The beach walk community is adorable and beautifully maintained. The house was perfect. The rooms were extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful home in an ideal location

This house is so beautiful and well stocked. I've never stayed in a rental with so much usable kitchen utensils, appliances, etc. Great location. Use of the golf cart was amazing. The house is perfectly situated for our 2 families to have suites connected by a bathroom but private from the other group. Common spaces were perfectly sized and well decorated. Felt like a comfortable home!

Fun getaway

This property is just as nice as the photos, if not better. We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend, and the huge table with seating for 10 meant we had plenty of room for folks and food! The open floor plan allowed everyone to be included in conversation, whether they were cooking, eating or watching football. The fireplace made the room very cozy. The rooms are nice, the house is very clean and we were impressed at how well-stocked everything was. We made a ton of food, and there was a dish, tray, pan or utensil for everything. There were a lot of board games and movies too. We made the short trek to the local field for football and basketball, but it was too cold to stay long. It would be the perfection location for summer though. The owners are great with communication and check in was incredibly easy. We would definitely go back!

Wedding weekend

It was our daughters wedding and we needed a place big enough for hair and make up for the bridal party. Jodi’s home was absolutely perfect. We had seven bridesmaids, getting ready with hair and make up at the same time at her 20 foot kitchen table! Our family along with out-of-town guests stayed in the home and its open concept main level was perfect for entertaining and being together. Jodi has thought of everything to stock the house. It was clean and worked perfectly for our get together. we also rented the cozy cottage in front for our extended family and it was so convenient. Our family rented 3 other homes in Beachwalk this same weekend and although they were all nice The Cottage was just perfect for our needs. Jodi is very responsive to needs and requests. We will definitely be back!

Where do I start?? This is one of the best rentals I've every stayed in. This house was perfect for a large group. We had 8 ladies and there was plenty of room for all of us. The location is ideal. My husband & I grew up in Michigan City and have always had a passion for Lake Michigan and it's beautiful beaches. We have 2 sons and always seem to have the most memorable times on the south shores of Lake Michigan. We find Michigan City to be a perfect, yet quaint, thriving location to own our vacation property.

Why they chose this property

After a long dream of owning our own vacation property, our dream finally became a reality after we purchased "The Cottage" and its coach house, "The Cozy Cottage." We find that the Beachwalk community and all of it's amenities to be the perfect place to vacation.

What makes this property unique

Clean, clean, clean! We promise our property will be clean and in mint condition upon your arrival. We want our cottage to be your home away from home and your vacation to be a memorable one! We always have a property manager on call 24 hours a day, should any unforeseen situation arise during your stay.
