This place was in a GREAT location if you had a decent size group of people. Plenty of places to eat and socialize. Quick drive/uber to uptown. It was just great to be there! The home was clean. The host has great communication. 10/10 do recommend!
The location was great. The issues were primarily with cleanliness. There was mold in upstairs bathroom, there was hair and trash in the downstairs bathroom on the floor, and the carpet is in need of a good deep cleaning. Upstairs the water pressure was terrible and the temperature never cooled in any room besides the master but there were fans so that may have been a known issue.
The house was filthy. It had not been vacuumed upon arrival. There was garbage and dirt all over the floors. My children’s feet were black on the bottom after a few hours of walking on the carpet. There was a broken couch and a chair with a large stain on it. There was one hand towel in the kitchen, no garbage bags and no paper towels. The microwave and ice maker were broken. There was no fitted sheet on one of the beds. When I asked the host how she could remedy the situation she said she’d comp one night and send cleaners. At this point we had unpacked, cleaners seemed more of a hassle with our stuff and children. I have yet to be reimbursed for the night, and the host will not respond to me.
