This house was absolutely perfect for our visit to nearby Forest Lake Camp, where we were attending a family wedding - extremely convenient location. We didn't get to spend very much time at the house - mainly just getting ready early, then back to crash in the evening. It looks just like the listing photos, and was very comfortable. The upstairs bedroom has its own bathroom, so we had privacy and plenty of space. We had all our meals at the camp/wedding activities, but the kitchen was fully stocked with pots and dishes. There's a Stewart's in town - just a few miles away - also very convenient. The wifi at the house is fantastic, but the surrounding area has almost no signal, so plan accordingly for the trip there. We wished we had more down time to enjoy the house and relax. Thanks for a great stay!

Cleanliness was a HUGE problem. The bathrooms - toilets, showers, and sinks - were not clean including garbage still in the upstairs bathroom. The kitchen was not clean - the countertops, stove top, and microwave were all sticky. There was half eaten food in the fridge and freezer. There were wet towels and undergarments left in the dryer from the previous guests. The beds were uncomfortable which resulted in some of us sleeping on the couch. The bed mattresses, sheets (black satin sheets!) and pillows were all uncomfortable. There are other aspects of the house that made it underwhelming such as no hooks to hang our towels for a family of 6, no toilet paper holders, and no bathroom or dish towels. Also, there were no screens in the bedrooms so we couldn’t open the windows/sliding door to get fresh air which is important with no air conditioning in the summer. Also, we didn’t receive our check-in instructions until 1030PM the night before which was a result of me texting the owner asking when we would receive the instructions. We will not be coming back - not for over 500 a night. We consider this a bachelor pad / money maker than an Adirondack vacation home which is what we look forward to every summer. It’s unfortunate because this house has a lot of potential.
