About this property

The Shipowner's Villa - your retreat with a view and patio

Nestled in a stunning, elevated position overlooking the sea and surrounded by lush greenery, this serene retreat is perfect for city dwellers looking for a peaceful escape. In just 15 minutes, you can access the famous Path of the Gods, with Amalfi only a 20-minute drive away. The natural beauty of Furore offers the ideal setting to relax and take in the breathtaking views. Sharing the space with a friendly dog and two cats adds to the charm of this tranquil getaway.

This is not built to rent, it’s my personal home, and fit perfectly my lifestyle, but it’s not for everyone.

This unique apartment, perched above the sea and surrounded by lush greenery, offers a luxurious retreat inspired by a classic yacht. Designed by my father, a shipowner and collector of historic ship artifacts, the apartment recreates the feeling of being at sea. The ship propeller in the living room, was originally on his first vessel.

The layout includes a spacious hallway, study with en-suite shower room and Bisazza-tiled steam room, a living room with access to the sea-facing terrace, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The master suite features an en-suite bathroom, a walk-in closet and a private terrace.

Just a 15-minute walk from the Path of the Gods and a short drive from Amalfi, this property is perfectly situated for exploring the Amalfi Coast. The local village offers all essentials, while nearby restaurants and even a thrilling zip line complete the experience.

All outdoor areas are accessible to guests, except for the private terrace of the neighboring holiday home. The apartment itself has two private terraces: one on the ground floor and another adjacent to the bedroom. The large shared terrace, featuring a gazebo, and the lawn with deck chairs, sofas, and an outdoor shower, is shared with guests of the second-floor home.

During your stay, you’ll be welcomed by Ali, a sweet and sociable dog, along with Pinguino and Canguro, two friendly black cats. Pinguino loves affection, while Canguro prefers to observe from a distance.
