I was born and brought up in this area, and have lived in the house for 30 years. I 'm a designer and have decorated the house in a modern style, clean and simple.
Why they chose this property
I've never wanted to leave this area which I believe is the best in London and full of charm. It's located on the edge of Notting Hill Gate, with Portobello market a 12 minute walk away. It's a very green area with wide leafy residential streets with lots of cool places to eat and shop as well as cultural hotspots to visit like the Victoria and Albert museum.
What makes this property unique
The property offers the experience of living in a typical English family home, but with a unique quality. Light pours through the house, which opens at the back onto a lovely garden. Eating, sleeping and relaxing in the relevant rooms are a joy and the house is full of everything you need, as it also functions as a family house.
