Newquay, which is home to the world famous Fistral beach is a few miles away, with family beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. There are surf schools so you can try your hand at this exhilarating sport, and you can also walk along the South West Coastal Path with stunning views. The zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium are also available. Truro is easily reached and is a must to explore the narrow streets and enjoy the restaurants, shopping, museum, cinema and theatre. Padstow, home to Rick Stein’s food empire, is a must visit for all the family. Wander around the narrow streets that lead to the working harbour and enjoy the ambiance provided by this traditional working fishing village. There are so many visitor attractions in this area, including the Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Cornish Cyder Farm, Dairyland Farm World, Lanhydrock House, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trebah Gardens, Crealy Adventure Park and the Eden Project.
